The Dublin County Board conducted a root-and-branch review of Dublin GAA last year.

In that Blue Wave report, certain areas were identified as being viable and sustainable to support new clubs.
Shankill was one such area.

As a result Shankill GAA is being reformed to promote GAA in the local community with an emphasis on inclusion for boys and girls
who wish to play football, hurling and camogie.

Launch Day will take place this Saturday 13th April 12pm to 1pm at Shanagangh Park with GAA coaching sessions for 5-12 year olds continuing every saturday thereafter.
